Introducing 58Miles showcase photographer Subin Selvaraj from Tamil Nadu.
Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got started in photography?
When I finished college I got an Android phone and I started photographing everything randomly.. When I posted them people were amazed and appreciated me.. That's how the journey of my Photography began.
What inspires your photography, and how do you choose your subjects or themes?
Mother nature and the innocent souls are my biggest inspiration. The themes and subjects I choose are because of my photography instincts and I just seize the
moments.
What has been your most memorable photography project or shoot, or any inspiring story around it, and why?
As a photographer every moment I captured is memorable moments only. Because every photograph has its own story and every story is inspiring in its unique way.
What is your photography kit ? or we would say, what is in your camera bag?
In my kit I have a Sony a7iii camera
Sony 35mm f1.8
Sony 85mm f1.8
Tamron 28-75mm f2.8
And some flash lights
What advice would you give to photographers who are just starting out and looking to make a name for themselves?
My advice to new photographers is Photography is an art and it cannot be learned in a day Or week or month. So practice by clicking the moments around you everyday and be consistent with it.
