Introducing 58Miles showcase photographer Divyesh Vora from Rajkot
Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got started in photography?
I specialize in various genres, including cinematography, fashion, baby, and wedding photography. As a X- ambassador for Fujifilm India, I’ve had the privilege to work with top-notch equipment and share my expertise through vlogs, especially focusing on the Fujifilm camera.
In addition to my personal projects, I run a firm called Foto Factory 2016. We handle diverse photography assignments and often travel internationally for pre-wedding and wedding shoots. Being part of this industry allows me to meet incredible people and capture some of the most significant moments in their lives, making every project uniquely rewarding.
What inspires your photography, and how do you choose your subjects or themes?
Inspiration for my photography comes from a variety of sources, including nature, emotions, and the unique stories of the people I photograph. I am deeply inspired by the interplay of light and shadow, the vibrancy of colors, and the intricate details that often go unnoticed. Each moment holds a unique story, and my goal is to capture that essence in every shot.
What has been your most memorable photography project or shoot, or any inspiring story around it, and why?
One of the most memorable photography projects I’ve undertaken was a pre-wedding shoot in Santorini, Greece. The stunning landscapes, iconic white-washed buildings, and the deep blue Aegean Sea created a breathtaking backdrop that made the entire experience unforgettable.
What made this shoot particularly special was the story of the couple. They had met in Greece years before and had always dreamt of having their pre-wedding photos taken there. Their excitement and emotional connection to the location were palpable, adding a layer of depth and authenticity to every shot.
What is your photography kit ? or we would say, what is in your camera bag?
My photography kit is carefully curated to ensure I have everything I need to capture the perfect shot in any situation. Here’s what you’ll typically find in my camera bag:
Cameras:
1. Fujifilm X-T4 - My go-to camera for most shoots, offering excellent image quality and versatility.
2. Fujifilm XH2S AND XT5 - A powerful camera that I use for cinematic film shoot and BTS.
3. Sony A7R IV - For high-resolution shots, particularly in fashion and detailed portrait work.
Lenses:
1. Fujifilm XF 23 f/1.4 R LM WR - A versatile zoom lens for a range of shots.
2. Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR - Great for portraits and telephoto needs.
3. Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM - A versatile lens for my Sony camera, suitable for various shooting scenarios.
4. Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM - Ideal for stunning portraits with beautiful bokeh.
Lighting:
1. NANLITE Forza 60 - A compact and powerful LED light for on-the-go shoots.
2. NANLITE PavoTube II 6C - For creative lighting and special effects.
Accessories:
1. Godox V1 Flash - For additional lighting when needed.
2. Manfrotto Tripod - For stability and long-exposure shots.
3. DJI Ronin-RS3 - A gimbal for smooth video footage.
4. Extra Batteries and Memory Cards - To ensure I never run out of power or storage during a shoot.
5. Reflectors and Diffusers - For controlling natural light.
Other Essentials:
1. Lens Cleaning Kit - To keep my equipment in top condition.
2. Portable Hard Drive - For backing up photos on the go.
3. Laptop - For quick edits and backups during travel.
For my own use, I typically carry a Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW II backpack for its versatility and capacity to hold my diverse range of gear, especially when traveling internationally for shoots. Additionally, I use a Peak Design Everyday Messenger for more urban and day-to-day shoots, as it offers quick access and a stylish look. All photographers i suggest please select the camera bag is the most important thing because your all costliest gear leave in this bag so main parameter is safety, and reliability.
The 58 Miles camera bag is reputed for its quality and functionality. I heard this brand name 5 or 6 months ago.
