Introducing 58Miles showcase photographer, Vivekanand Yadav from Varanasi

Can you tell us a bit about your background and how you got started in photography?

Hello, I'm Vivekanand yadav, a passionate photographer hailing from a middle-class family. My journey into photography began with a simple DSLR camera, capturing the everyday beauty around me. Over the years, I've honed my skills, finding inspiration in the nuances of daily life and the stories of the people around me. My background has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and the beauty in simplicity, all of which I strive to reflect in my work. Whether it's portraiture, landscape, or street photography, I aim to tell compelling stories through my lens, bringing a unique perspective shaped by my roots.

 

 

What inspires your photography, and how do you choose your subjects or themes?

When I was in my 12th standard I always observe lots of stories around me and that time I make sketch of them & and I don't have any idea that am going freeze this precious moments of life with my camera, These things inspired me for get into in this field. I love to capture true essence of moment and pure candid emotions.

 

 


What has been your most memorable photography project or shoot, or any inspiring story around it, and why?


My most memorable project was I worked for canon japan and for smile train and I got featured twice on Nat Geo , After featuring on Nat Geo I took photography as a career and never look back again.

What advice would you give to photographers who are just starting out and looking to make a name for themselves?


I have only one advice for upcoming photographers and filmmakers, You have show your patience and positive vision for good shots.
